Gappd terms of service
These terms govern your use of Gappd. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
1. The service
Gappd is a local-first macOS application for recording, transcribing, summarizing, and reviewing meetings. Some installed versions can also offer optional Google Calendar access or optional processing providers. Features may change as the app develops.
2. Your responsibilities
You must use Gappd lawfully. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to record or process a meeting, protecting access to your Mac and connected accounts, and reviewing generated output before relying on or sharing it.
3. Third-party services
Optional features can connect to services such as Google Calendar, Railway infrastructure, or a provider that you select. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. Gappd does not control their availability or policies.
4. Open-source software
Gappd source code is published under the license included in its source repository. That license continues to govern the licensed source code. These terms do not remove rights granted by the open-source license.
5. Availability and warranties
Gappd is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kristian Gosvig is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of Gappd. Nothing in these terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
7. Ending use
You can stop using Gappd at any time. You can disconnect connected accounts, delete local data, and uninstall the app. Sections that must reasonably survive termination remain in effect.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as Gappd changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be disclosed before they take effect when required.
